Where Can I Get Emergency Contraception?

français»

In Canada you no longer need a doctor's prescription to obtain emergency contraceptive pills (ECP). They are now available over the counter (OTC) at a pharmacy, with the option of speaking with a pharmacist. You may want to phone the pharmacy beforehand to ensure they have ECP in stock.

You can obtain ECP from some members of the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health as well as sexual health centres, women's centres/clinics, community health clinics, birth control clinics, public health departments, university health centres and emergency hospital rooms.
