Scholarships & Awards
CFSH offers a number of awards and scholarships. These awards and scholarships reward excellence in programs, and assist students in their studies in sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Phyllis Harris Scholarship for Undergraduate Students: an annual award of $3000, for undergraduate students actively engaged in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
John and Lois Lamont Scholarship for Graduate Students: an annual award of $3000 offered on an alternating basis to research based and professional program graduate students who demonstrate a commitment to improving access to sexual and reproductive health. Professional programs are defined as those that lead directly to professional accreditation, or are a prerequisite for applying for professional accreditation. While most professional programs are offered at a graduate level we recognize that some, such as midwifery, medicine and social work, are offered as professional degrees at an undergraduate level. We welcome applicants from all professional programs whether they are offered at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Helen and Fred Bentley Award for Excellence in Achievement is offered yearly to a CFSH Member Association, which has shown outstanding achievement in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
