Starting October 2009, AIDS PEI will offer a new service utilizing instant messaging programs to provide sexual health information to island residents, regardless of their location. Through this service, islanders can “chat in” with an AIDS PEI staff person or volunteer Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and ask sexual health questions (STIs, HIV, testing, Hepatitis C and other questions related to sexual and reproductive health). All volunteers will be trained to provide basic information and answer questions.
