Members

Each year, our local and provincial member organizations reach over 310,000 Canadians to provide free services, such as:

• sexuality 
• pregnancy options
• birth control
• prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
• information and counselling on basic anatomy
• menstruation
• menopause
• counselling for pregnant women

All affiliates provide education, some offer clinical services (such as testing for sexually transmitted infections, HIV testing, Pap tests), and some offer birth control methods such as free condoms or prescriptions for emergency contraception.

Our members have specialised services significant to the area in which they reside. Their services are covered under most provincial health care programs, and they respect the privacy and anonymity of every individual who uses these facilities and participates in our programs. As CFSH is a federation each member organization is independently incorporated.
