With sexual and reproductive health week (Feb 10th-14th ) fast approaching we are thrilled with the positive feedback we’ve already received from many of the organizations that have received our new Heart Your Parts poster! If you haven’t yet ordered your free poster we urge you to do so soon, as supplies are limited this year due to funding restrictions. We are grateful to the Canadian Federation of Students for helping us to make these posters available and for distributing them to campuses across the country. We also have a print quality copy if you would prefer to print it locally.
We are pleased to offer you updated How to Heart Your Parts content for this year’s campaign thanks to respected sex-educator Lyba Spring. Social media resources are also available to help you promote sexual and reproductive health in your communities. We encourage you to use our Heart Your Parts display pictures on your personal or organization Twitter and Facebook pages. We also have youth friendly, inclusive, and sex-positive sample Tweets and Facebook posts you are welcome to use.
Lastly, Michelle Reid, one of our youth board members has written a great blog post on the importance of sexual and reproductive health for youth which we encourage you to share. We would be happy to share your own Heart Your Parts themed blogs with our audience, if your organization has the capacity to write one. Consider exploring what Heart your Parts means in your particular context or community. We would love to hear about any events or Heart Your Parts programming that you have planned for sexual and reproductive health awareness week. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know, or if you have particular resources, events, or blog posts you would like us to promote.
We look forward to you joining the conversation on Facebook and Twitter at #HeartYourParts, and wish you the best with the work you are doing promoting health in your communities.
